Design and construction are indispensable to the construction or renovation of any modern laboratory. Professional design is the foundation of smooth construction. Only by perfect construction can the design drawings be put into practice. So what details
should we pay attention to in the laboratory renovation?
1. Drainage Pipeline Construction
The architect provides the design plan for the building under construction, and then reserves concealed pipes or suspended pipes for the construction of the building itself according to the location and distance marked on the design drawing. If the
laboratory has not been built or has been rebuilt for many years, water sources for water intake and drainage shall be sought, and open channels and hangers shall be used for construction.
2. Circuit configuration
Locations that have not been built or converted into laboratories for many years: Determine existing power trunks to assess power adequacy. If there is any shortage, increase production capacity. During the construction of covert pipes or open pipes,
renovation or segregation is required. Large analytical and testing instruments and equipment in laboratories, especially those similar to ICP spectrometers, must have special grounding wires to protect the safety of operators and equipment, shield
the interference of external magnetic field on the instrument, and stabilize the electrical Zero of the instrument. The grounding wire must be reserved in advance.
3. Exhaust system
Provide architects with pipeline planning routes. Discuss setting up pipeline wells or reserved holes in advance. Or confirm that the building itself does not have pipe wells (if any). On the contrary, the ideal exhaust pipe path can be found according
to the site distance and terrain. Revalidate the control mode and calculate the exhaust volume and wind speed of the fan.
